Man the last couple of weeks I have been a bit out of touch on the OSE and RRR forums. Just taking a quick peek here and there. I just did some reading on RRR and found Mr. Bill pulled off a new Namba Record at the saws. Great Job BILL!!!!!
Ya Bill job well done. I bet you learned a bunch from everyone especially Brian and Mark
Ah so much less stress and tudes here than on another fourm

I read all that crap. I see it this way. He ran by the rules and broke the record. Because he didn't build the frame work of the boat means nothing to me. Its no different than some top fuel guy breaking a new speed barrier. Everyone credits the driver. Bill was nice enough to credit all the people that helped him and it still wasn't enough. Go get em Bill. Move it up the next time around!!!
One thing, I didn't bring this up to start a debate. I Just wanted to credit Bills accomplishments!
Thanks guys. I had a blast and as you say, I learned a bunch too. I had originally intended to run my Avenger but did not get the motor in time, so I ran the Sniper.
There is a 2-lap in May, and it appears NOBODY has even attempted to set NAMBA 2-lap FE records, so that will be some fun. Then there's another SAWS in August at Legg and then the FE SAWS in October.
Lots of fun coming down the pike. And it looks like the gas guys are going to allow us to run FE in their Open class at the gas races. I am also going to be running a cat in G-1 cat (gas). So lots of racing coming!!
Congrats Bill
With out the Pros out there like you pushing the limits us sport boaters would not have the invaluable data we need for builds and setups.
Thank you,
Tom G
Since I dont surf the other forums, could someone point me to a link to check out this amazing feature? or could they just state the timing or speed record for what? Sorry for my newness to this sport.
What nobody has mentioned yet is how well Bill drove. You can buy all the high end stuff you want. You can't buy back to back runs within .020 seconds of each other, that takes more than a little tallent (could be years of precision aerobatics).
Well done!
I only have one more thing to say: MORE PROP!!!

Shush!! Brian and I are working on the first 100 MPH SV. Just trying to figure how to get the 3080 in there. We're thinking it might take a bit of work on the hatch!!
