new esc, amp suggestions for t600?

Hey guys I have a 41" Mhz cat that uses twin t600 outrunner motors, 1400kv. I am going to run the boat on 6s from now on and have decided to sell my seaking 120A escs, which will appear in the buy/sell forum tomorrow. I really like the fightercat escs, the thing is if I am running 1400kV motors on 6s, can I run a 140a fightercat esc, or is it really necessary to step up to the 160a. I know eering on the side of more capability is usually better but if I can save 30 bucks and put it towards the programming box/motor caps I would like to. Any ideas on speed if running the 1400kv 6s gens ace batteries and x447 props? I am hoping for 65mph with decent run times. Thanks guys.

Well I don't know about the T-600's but I only logged 118 amps max with my Eagle Tree with X450 props on my 10lb FC Shocker on 5s running 1800 kv 4082's.I think it was 108amps with 4518's on 6s.
Don't know if this helps you make a decision.I do have a pair of those outrunners, just haven't tried them yet.

Is this a twin prop or two 600's inline turning one shaft and prop? If twin the T600's should turn the 447's just fine, My opinion is that the 140's will be enough.

The boat is setup to run twin props and they're spun fine by the t600 motors. I have been running the boat on 4s per side for a few months (new to FE boating). I feel like the outrunners with low KV pull low amps, just hopefully low enough. Thanks for the response so far guys.

In my opinion go for t180 rather the FC140 or else FC300.

I am interested in FC because the escs are capable of handling higher voltage better. I have personally fried a turnigy 180 in another boat and want to stay away. I am a fan of high voltage low amp setups for run time and cool running temps.

Well if the T180 is off your list, I own two 200a 6s swordfish ESC's...............awesome is all I can say. They have never hit pre-mature LVC and barely get warm................I run them in my 39" mono and 32" Pursuit in my Signature below.

Many members run them on 6s with the internal bec (new version).
I run mine with ext.pack on 6s and extra caps(mine is 5 years old).

                        ok here we go.
I used to run the same motors in the Insane twin mono in my Avatar.
I used to run the same exact motors WITH the Sea King 180A (T180) ESC's
using 6S2P (6S1P tied together in parallel feeding BOTH esc's at the same time.)
using x-447 CR props and it ran GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you really want to use the FC esc's I would not use the FC 160A esc but USE the FC 8S 240A ESC instead.

The FC 6S 160A esc will work but you should leave a nice buffer for spikes and
high amp draws should they occur.

Remember, this is just my honest opinion.
