    Hydra 120 programming info

Just got a Hydra 120 and was wondering if there are program settings I should not touch. The documentation on the programming seems to be lacking a little and I am dense anyway any suggestions would be appreciated. Most interested in the current limiter and the start power and the throttle curve.

That setting can also change to "forward to reverse" It says that this setting makes the boat operate freely in forward and reverse"

The reverse is for the trigger throw incase you are programing a car setup. It is some of the genaric (sp) for the program to cover all models. I never use reverse in a boat it will cause beral and not what you want. You do want ti to fre spin, Also keep the soft start setting. The voltage cut off is important for Lipo 3V. per cell.

I am not sure how the current limiter works I will be calling Joe Ford tomorrow I will ask.

Throttle curve will make the trigger more responsive or less. I have tried to use the curve in this program. But it think it is better to use the radio curve so you can adjust in the field with the radio, I never take a lap top to the pond.

But are you in essence saying the barracuda is better for reverse...

Jim your missing one key factor, although CC says there esc is motor sensing...What kinda motor are you running.

I don't plan on using the reverse function. Right now all I have is the SV27 motor a 6 pole and possibly in the future I might run again with ERCU so it would be a Himax 1500kv that is also a 6 pole motor
