No beeps from motor

Hi guy's, just got a new leopard installed in my cat and now it's not making any sounds when powered up. Is this a normal thing?. It used to beep with the 8xl but nothing now. Everything is still working as far as I can tell, throttle and steering no prob's. One thing I did notice, the little green led on the speedy lights up and then goes out pretty well straight away. Oh, and it's a swordfish 200a esc. Just tried some diffrent rx's aswell in case this was the problem but with no evail. Thanks for your help in advance. Cheers Gus

I had the same thing happen to me using a inexpensive Chi speed controller several years ago. Tried a different motor even and it just quit making sound. Didnt effect the setup. It ran fine. Just wouldnt beep anymore. Most likely just fine the way that it is.

Thanks mate, It's just weird that everything works and I am not used to no start up beeps. I miss that sound along with the crack from the batteries.
