    CC Barracuda for Scale Models

I was just wondering why Castle Creation stopped making the Barracuda 80/125...I have a 125 and I was fooling around with it yesterday...I ran it under 18 cells feigao 9l and a 645. I ran the boat hard a few times and then...switched it in reverse hard also a few times , man this esc hold up...These esc's would be great for scale modelers who I think with this esc have to option to upgrade to more efficient brushless motors,Now I'm thinking of removing my Astro .40's and maybe run some kb's 700kv in my Darby, just my 2 cent.

Just looks like you using that boat to fish. At least in michigan you must be handicapped in order to use such a devise or a crossbow. DNR would be on our butts. I once got a ticket when i was 17 for fishing without a license, cost me 120.00 and the officer watched us from almost a mile away. that would make a strong recovery boat as well, wish i could get into scale modeling.

Well you need a license in florida also, but this is in my backyard, I live on a golf course with a few small lakes, so in essences it's private property so no license in necessary, But I was bored one day so I decided to play with it, it's more fun fishing with it, the golfers love it they get a kick out of it...that boat is 64 pounds.

Scale boats are fun and that my point, I'm no sure the reason for CC to discontinue the Barracuda, But it would be a great esc for scale modelers to upgrade to brushless motors and still have proportional forward and reverse without having to change 2 wires. My cousin and I are about to build 2 thunder tiger neptune subs and install cams on them...I looks like fun
