Just to keep you all updated it has now been 23 days and I have no boat and no refund. There is even a boat in stock now but they are not sending it to me becuase it is a different color than the one I originally ordered. For the first couple weeks their customer service kept saying things like "we will look into it ASAP" "We will keep you informed" and "our payment and shipping departments are very busy" As of this week no one is even answering my emails now so I advise you all to keep your money and don't order from them.

Todyas news in the ongoing saga of R2 hobbies worst customer service ever:
Got an email yesterday stating they were definately going to refund my money and it was processing.
Got another email today stating that my order had been shipped. WTF?!?!?
Logged onto the site with my password and could find no evidence of this order and no tracking number.
WORST RC COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.Son to me: It's never fast enough is it Dad?

I already told you how to deal with this. I had the same exact thing happen with hk. I did not get anywhere until I called my bank and let them get my money back, which took 2 daysComment

Thats the worst I've heard but, I take any purchase from China with a few grains of salt. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes it's o.k.

Resolution: Shortly after my last post they said they were refunding my money, then the very next day they shipped me a boat. Got the boat in less than a week then.
Overall service - terrible.
Shipping - excellent.
Boat itself I am very happy with now that I have it painted and kitted out.
It is currently doing just shy of 50mph and handles very well.
Turnigy 120A ESC and 2000KV motor,
2 5400 50C Zippy packs,
Spektrum MR200 reciever and
Traxxas waterproof servo
Total cost 340$ - excellent for a boat that screams like this one.Son to me: It's never fast enough is it Dad?

This is neat too, keeps up well with an intruder.

Seems some of the Chinese places are good till they get a name and start selling a large quantity.
My first ever over seas Internet order was from r2 a few years ago. DF 26 copy.
Ordered a fair amount from them never had a problem.
But there now probably the same as hobby king. ordering from them 5 years ago they shipped the same day or the next at the latest. 3-4 day delivery to Australia.
Now your lucky if it arrives in 2 weeks.
