I've only done Graupners and used their "Stabilit Express".It is great stuff and I even used it to sharpen the trailing edge of the hull.

I can't seem to find it anywhere other than there website, expensive shipping from Germany. They're owned by the parent company of locktite, I'm going to try contacting the local distributor

Try searching for Pattex Stabilit Express. Lots of online retailers, not just Germany. Some eBay shops carry it to.

Regular CA (superglue) bonds ABS plastic like nobody's business. It's what I use. Got that tip from Randy at BBY (they sell ABS hulls).

In my experience from building scale boats this is not true for all kinds of ABS plastics. The CA will react differently to different manufacturers. Some bond well, but some become very brittle and just wont be usable for anything else then standing on a shelf. Stabilit is a fantastic glue. To bad it costs an arm and a leg, it smells bad, and you have to mix a certain amount every time.

Devcon Plastic Weld is very close to Stabilit & is made specifically for plastics inc abs but can also be used on wood & metal. You have to work quick though as it dries around 5 minuets, relativally cheap & easy to get as well.

The Oatey is what the plumbers use.The all purpose bonds ABS=CPVC and PVC,and you can get it at a hardware store. It welds the parts together.

Rough up the mating areas with sand paper and use Shoe Goo. Glue in your motor mounts with it too. Very tough stuff.
