CF Daytona Motor and ESC Selection

    Hi guys,
I have been reading every post I can about what motors and esc's work well for starting out with a CF Daytona and from what I am reading I am thinking about going with a Leapord 4082 1600kv and T-180 setup running on 6s. My question is after this has been run for a while would moving to a 240A esc on 8s gain more speed (with the proper prop of course) or would I need to move to another motor to make this work?

Getting ideas before I start ordering!

    Thanks for any help guys!

Is my thinking ok as far as the 240 being a upgrade later then?

I know this probably opens a whole can of worms but which motor will perform better given the same kv rating. A Neu or a Leapord? or are they pretty much one in the same for performance?
