    First run of the season!!!

Hey all, I just ran my titan 40 for the first time this year!! WHAT A DAY, I'm in upstate NY and it almost hit 80 degrees today! Boat ran pretty good, leans to the right a bit, maybe a trim tab adjustment, The castle ICE200HV performed flawlessly, the only issue, seems like I'm loosing signal??? The motor cuts in and out a bit. I don't know whats going on. I'm using a futaba radio AM, I do have a Futaba 3pkMX 2.4 ghz, just haven't had time to swap it out, I've never had an issue with this radio/receiver in the past with any of my nitro trucks.. Also the logger on that esc is pretty neat, Im running a leopard 4082 2200KV on 3s It pulled 24000 rpm and then I tried two 3s packs in series quick, 34,000 rpm and no temps went over 90, I didn't hammer on it, only in the straights for a sec. I think I will go with a lower KV motor, say 1500KV or there about and stick with the 6's, its more fun!!!!! Chat later Paul

Where in NY are you? I'm about 15 miles east of Poughkeepsie. You may be running into the soft cutoff on the speed control- get yourself the Castlelink, it works great. Mike

I would bump that cutoff up a bit.I run mine at 3.4-3.5.
