Poor guy at URC made a youtube review of Leopard motors and compared them to Castle motors. Even remarked that he thought Leopard's were built buy the same manufacturers as Castle. This looks like his "please don't take me to court" video to Castle.

Regardless of the incentive he had, props to him for getting it out there. Too many folks think that Castle is ripping them off by selling a Leopard motor for a higher price. Having run both, I know that the Castle is superior in about every way - except for price. However, for some the Leopard is enough motor, and its price point/quality niche insures its popularity. Fortunately we have numerous BL motor choices today. Ten years ago we could not say that.

I run Leopard and Castle with success. Ive really enjoyed them both, but now, Im running Nue's and, wow, what a difference. Its like a different boat. Its all I want to run from now on, but I wont be throwing the other two brands out the window. Plenty of fun to be had with all 3 brands I have.Comment

I feel bad for him because I saw his review video for leopards. He basically put out info that he didn't know was correct or not. He didn't just compare them as comparable in quality. His review said Leopards were pretty much Castles in a different can. That the manufacturer's in china that made leopards were an OEM for Castle. Castle quickly corrected him.Comment

YOur not getting ripped off as far as I'm concerned uless your unhappy and this is coming from some one who owns 6 cc motors and zero leopards but do own an aveox and lehner motorComment
