Feigao 9xl motor with bent shaft ?

Hi,
Are feigao motor worth trying to fix ?
My motor some how got a bent shaft on it, I was running friday and it stopped on me.
I got it in and had about 3/4" water in the hull,
And motor and esc hot.
So I let every cool and dry out and then tried it on the bench and it work ok.
Today I went to run it, And when I plug in the cells the motor tones were low,
but it ran on the table so I put it in the pond and it stuttered and I think I saw smoke.
I looked inside and all was good, But hot and cells were warm.
Check esc on bench and its still goog and cells are ok.

Not worth messin with in my opinion...................just replace it with one of the great new Turnigy 4 pole 9xl's

Just not sure why it bent,
I never heard of motors shaft doing that, In less you drop them on the shaft.
I have a 4074 2200kv I may try or the t600 1400kv.

I had a fiegao that had a bad bearing and the rotor shaft would get REALLY hot-- if this happened and your boat flooded with cold water that might have warped it. If you get another one, run it for 2 minutes, bring it in, and check that the shaft is cool-- it should NOT be hot... only the can should get warm...

I'm dumb; 9xl- how can you tell if it's a 9xl. I have a 2860-B-2700 and 3674-B-2200. Help me out Make-a Wake. I'm retired and came from brushed era, oh yes, Thanks! I'm using 3S lipos with a 42 x 55 prop.

Fred, your 3674 2200kv is basically a 7xl.........................to be almost exact its a 7.5xl..................LOL

You can run 4s with the 3674, but the 2860 is definately a 3s motor.

I have a 3674 that i fried on the first use...................plugged it in and it went to WOT til the magnet shattered.........

I am putting a Leopard 4074 2200kv back in my 36"Shockwave,
And need To know what the timing should be set at please,
