    quick Apparition question,

For those of you that have an Apparition (single motor): How does it turn at low speed??? Can it be used as a "recovery" boat? I tried a Spartan but that was a big no-go (didnt turn at all at low speed). I also have the Apparition in the box, thought maybe I would throw an ESC in it and give it a shot, But if somebody already has this info then I don't need to waste my time with it..

    thanks for the help.

Depends on what hardware you put on it. A stock inline rudder maybe, but for a good rescue boat something with a steerable outdrive works best at low speed. I use a apache 24 with a 35T brushed motor. Works awesome! I also used a Rio Ep, the dual rudder setup worked well but the apache works better imho.

My MC steers good at low speeds thats why I was thinking my Apparition might also, but the steerable outdrive makes sense.

I might try this POS off of ebay.

It looks like it turns pretty good for videos on youtube. (for under $50)
