Hey guys I am just wondering if a set of trim tabs or Turnfins would help counteract a torque roll under heavy acceleration?
Do Turnfins or Trim tabs help with torque roll

Just put some on my Deep V. Mine was all over the place at full throttle before the tabs/fins now it tracks a load better but I can still veer off going full throttle. I haven't been able to flip it yet though and have about an hour of run time logged with the fins. I took it to the lake also with very rough water and it plowed through just fine. At least those where my impressions. How big is your boat?Kyosho K.I.T.T. -
It is 26 inches but highly overpowered which I know..... I was just thinking maybe it would help it move thru the water a bit more stable. Right now I can't even come close to full throttle out of the hole before it wants to roll over. Once underway it isn't to bad but it still will get going so fast that it is unstable.CF Fightercat Daytona, 21 year old Hitec Sea Nymph, Genesis and many more to come im sure.Comment

I have a 15" deep v mono thats pretty quick & during development of the boat was getting torque roll with fast starts & also riding with the bow out the water on excelleration (not due to wrong cg but power of the motor). I allready had turn fins fitted but then added tabs& found they made a big difference to the boat re torque roll & also keeping the front down.Comment
