upgrading to a larger fe boat

Very new to boating. I currently have an Aquacraft Supervee27 that I run on 2s 5000mah 65c LiPo's. I would like to get a larger boat around the 36" range. The King of Shaves recommends running on 3s batteries. Does this mean I can not run on the 2s batteries I already have?

It all boils down to RPM's at the prop and what your motor and ESC can handle.

How many of those batteries do you have? If you have at least two of them you could look for a 4S setup. One of the Pursuit kits would work awesome! Sounds like you want a cat though?

Are you talking about the P1 35"KOS or the Cat ?
The p1 35 Kos will run on 3s and do 30 mph or 4s and do 40 mph, Depending on the prop.
I am still doing some testing and modding on one.
The pursuit may be a better choice for your money with the right deal.
