Astro 207D ESC set up ?

Both my LSO and LSH boats have Astro 207D ESCs and SS1 motors and work fine.
However I want to change to a better radio system and can't remember if I need to go thru a proceedure to introduce the new radio to the ESCs, or are they plug and play.
Of course I lost the instructions ages ago !
Can someone enlighten me
I promise to keep the instructions next time.

I think Steve is right... I think I just set my radio trims to neutral and plug it in...

I also checked with Astroflight and yes it just sets automatically.
What a clever little ESC.

The Astro ESC's have always been great, Bob was not a NAMBA member that's all.

Gee...not sure why you have to higlight Bob was not a member of NAMBA. Talk to Bob some time...he could give a sh-t less what people think...just always built good chargers and ESCs.

If Bob was a member, everyone on these forums would know how great Astro products are, that's the point. Some people were saying that all the classes needed to be BL because they could not buy Kunz controls. Perfect example. I like Andy, but he is not the only company to make a good ESC

Ah...I hear ya. Just looked strange that coming from nowhere.

One of my first ESCs was the 207D...still have it today. Countless hours and set ups on it.

I can say that I melted the shrink off it twice running hot pletts and when Andy came out with a decent ESC and even without cooling it hardly got it warm. More effiecient as well. I have about 4 of RC Hydros controllers.

Bet Matthew is a big boy now! What is he 6 or 7? Hope Sarah is doing well also.
