R2 Hobbies Godspeed U or Twin Power Catamaran

Does anyone have one of these boats from R2 Hobbies? Are they any good for sport boating or
racing? Quality wise are the hulls comparable to the Genesis? Thank you

      +1 that's what I've heard.

I doubt the quality is as good as a TFL hull. Check out Ben (fightercatracing.com) if u want a decent 32" cat.

I've got the 36" twin power hull but haven't built it up yet. Just the bare hull.
Seems sturdy enough to me. The 32" Apparition is thinner.
Is this the one you are talking about?

        Cheers.

          Hi,
Yeah I really like the look of the Twin cat or the Godspeed U. Any idea of what you're going to power it with? Single or twins?. I think I may
          get the Godspeed U.

I can't comment on the Godspeed as I've never seen one, but I do remember that someone did a build thread on one & they did comment on how flimsy it was & the join between the deck & hull was a bit weak.
For the twin I'm going to use a couple of 2200kv Turnigy outrunners. I've had one in a mono & they produce some good speed if not over propped.
I've got most of the bits for the build but just haven't had a chance to get into it yet.
            Cheers.
