They have to get the course and driver's stand setup Wednesday morning, but the open water is for the racers to test and tune for the racing, which starts Thursday...

Please DO COME DOWN and check it out! Most of us are an "open book" and you can see first hand some of the things you may have had questions about, and also what things look like in person, as opposed to in pictures!

Plus, you'll find out that racing isn't something that should intimidate you... which will lead you to getting a boat or two to race with, which will lead to you have a TON of fun... which will, in turn, lead you down the slippery slope of being COMPLETELY INSANE about racing these things! Next thing you know, you'll have 10-hulls and be having to try to decide WHICH ones to race that day!!

Ha-Ha-Ha! No Problem! You are in GOOD COMPANY!

I come by it naturally... my wife is a councilor (almost a "shrink"), and she diagnoses what's wrong with me for free on a regular basis!

Most of the time a cat is raced in offshore.

By deffinition a 'cat' is a hydro... that said, offshore is where I've seen them run.
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in

Well it looks like the Puget Sound boys had a great time, wish I could have been there!!! it looked like a great time (did us California boys have many entries?) too bad if we didn't looks like Washington killed everyone.

                          Yup

They sure did, all 17 of them. Nice job Darin, you and Brain did a nice job killing the Nats with your unlimited budgets.

Steve... Unless you were there... STICK IT in your EAR!

You have NO idea what you are talking about... NO idea what kind of "Budgets" we have... and certainly NO IDEA how the racing was, is, or is going to be in the future...

Those of us who showed up had a great time, made some great friends, and had some fun competition. We know the score... STOP trying to turn everything back into a NAMBA bashing, or Puget Sound bashing, fest... We are trying to bring people back together... NOT drive them appart.

All this kind of crap coming from you and the like serves no other pupose other than the fuel the flames of dissent.

East and West came together some at this event... Jump on the bandwagon or get run over by it... the choice is yours! But if you don't have something nice to say or constructive to add... how about listening to your mamma and just keep it to yourself?

Give him a break Darin. He's just pi$$ed that NiMHs are dead.

Honestly, if we were still stuck with old round cells I'd still be flying electric planes, where Lipos has been King for some time.

I had fun, as much fun as you can have having your head handed to you and getting your favorite boat sunk!!

                              Can't wait for next year!!!

Joerg Mrkwitschka had it all right and you guys ran him off.....

Oh sure, it's the round cells Bill....

The nats use to have 50-70 people and you guys had to have your unlimited motors and unlimited LiPoly.

Oh I know, everyone stopped going because of Global Warming, yes, that's it.
