I ordered a boat once from HOR, got the wrong one sent to me and was never even able to get a response from them. It seems that if they make a mistake on your shipment there is no correction that occurs, but they will ship you something... chuckle.

so would this be better:- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=110728607671
or do think an old known K&B converted to BL is better?
Will be looking at upgrading my outboard later and dont want to buy expensive paper weights.

yes FRP or carbon plastic is very strong. used it on many 1/10th touring race cars back in the day. but not as strong as billet alloy.

Pretty sure thats a REK, been around for a while and spares are available, Thats also a reputable guy to buy from, Fuller's been around for a looong time in the rc boating ring.
I'll eventually get an OS lower, currently using modded/converted K&B's because they are available cheap and lot's of parts support, even aftermarket parts available.
Don't see much about the angle and bullet drives from Hyperformance. Bought one of their cables once, POS! never used it, would have rounded something out with the sloppy fit!
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Just got my order in, and it was all there!!

Very impressed with shipping to scotland in about a week. Its usually 2 weeks from hong kong etc

When i opened the box i couldnt believe how small the motor is!!!

here it is next to a 1450kv turnigy outrunner and a 380 brushed motor

the outboard drive itself is surprisingly very well made. only the quality of the hex screws let it down as i rounded one re-assembling it.

The carbon cavitation plate is a bit over the top but it should be a breeze to fit a new one on.

Going to stick this on an old kyosho viper hull and use it as a rescue boat.

once i get an appropriate prop i should be able to give her a test run.....

anybody got any ideas on an appropriate prop for this tiny motor

I think it's 3mm. I'll measure it tomoro with the digital calipers at work.

Dana, you can pick these vipers up for next to nothing. I've also got one with a kehrer jet drive.

I'll see how it goes with one motor. I could maybe get another one and run a twin set up

Is there any new worthy clipon's with dedicated BL build to them, like the cnc stuff being seen? but handle 6S or more?

my original viper was bought in 1995 but its well beyond repair as the hull has went brittle and cracked all over the shop. i think the only thing keeping it together is the decals!

The other 2 I've bought off of ebay for less than 5 pounds have been great. one is jet drive and the other one is getting this outboard.

the speed controller set up that came in one of them is a work of pure genius!!!!
