    Ferro ring placement?

Does it matter where this is placed or should it be as near to the rx plug as possible? Mine are in the way and making stuff look cluttered!

    Thanks!

Interesting that you bring this up; I recently did a build and moved the ring maybe six inches away from where it was on the plug end from one side of the 4" rails, under the motor and back out the other rail to the Rx. Haven't noticed any probski's. Theoretically the closer to the Rx it is the better, and the unprotected length of cable between the ring and Rx is an area that could pick up some spurious interference so the smaller this length is, the better, at least theoretically. Hopefully there'll be a better informed response than mine, I'm curious to know more as well.

I unplugged the wires from the BEC plug and took the ring off. Been running this way for over a year with no problems.

Thanks for all the replies, maybe I will try without it and see how it goes my only concern is that the esc wires go under the motor and I am guessing this may be bad for interference
