    Will 4mm flexi's be ok?

Just in the process of building a twin rivercat (apparition) setup will be twin 3126 1600kv outrunners on 6s and 42-45mm props, the stingers I am using are 4mm with the 2 piece flexi, will this handle the power? I am going to loctite the flexi into the shaft, Not many places in the UK does wire drives so my choice is limited as is my budget

    Thanks

you could have gone with the 078 4mm's from fightercat.
depending on the quality of the flexi, it should hold up.

If you clean your cables before each run and have some oil/grease youll be fine

Properly set up, they work well. I've ran a lot harder loads on them than that with no problems. In my opinion, as long as the square drive fits together well (not loose), I wouldn't lock tight it. The advantage of the two-piece system is that when the cable shrinks, it doesn't pull the drive dog closer to the stinger, meaning you can run the drive dog with a plastic washer and no gap. If you decide to locktight it, make sure you run a gap there.
The disadvantage of these cables, expecially on a twin, is that they have to be removed from the motor side, not out of the back of the stinger or strut. This means you need to remove either your motors or stingers/struts to get the flex out. In a twin where there is little room to get to motor bolts, you may get tired of doing it this way.

will wires work ok when there is such as short distance between motor and strut (and therefore more angle?) ive read somewhere wire drives prefer a straight run?

here is roughly where where the motors will be mounted, this is only my second build and 1st twin so this is all new!!

they prefer less bend, so that would probably be too much.

I built the same boat as a twin. It is sold now, so I cant measure where I put the motor mounts for you. From looking at your pic, I think you can use wire drives. My stuffing tubes had a bend in them. Never had any problems with my drive system. Here is a link to my build thread. Compare my motor mount location to yours. They look like they are placed close to the same location. Going by "eye" isnt accurate at all, but its the only thing to go by, by comparing pictures.
