I just did my first run of a DF22, my rescue boat (Traxxas Blast) had an eventful first day. My watercooling tubing wuz too big, and the boat almost sunk itself. I think I shorted my reciever. the boat stopped moving about 100 feet from nearest shore in a slow moving river. here can I get medium or small water tubing?
Help!!!!

my rule of thumb; use the small silicon fuel line on 1/8" tubing and medium size for 5/32" tubing. it should seem nearly impossible to slide the tubing(hose) over the metal tubes(I use liquid dish detergent to lube things and they are still hard to get into place!). on dubious connections use 4" zip ties to help secure the hose. try to ensure that all metal to flexhose joints have at least a half inch overlap.
if your LHS caters to nitro car/truck/airplane folk...they should carry silicon fuel line.Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in -
I learned a great trick... I couldnt reach my connections due to hull clearance so I heated some water up to almost boiling and soaked the first couple inches of tubing in the water for a couple minutes. I stretched over the connectors nice and smooth and really helps stay away from lubing incase "JUST" incase the line slides back off in a crash it wont have the lube to come back off. just my 2 centses.!Comment
