Best deep-vee hull 30"+ to build ($250 budget)

If you had $250 to buy a hull (preferably with hardware) what would you get? I really like the mmp rapid. But they are located in Czech so I don't know about gettin it since since I'm I'm the states. Thanks for the help

do you have 250 for everything or just the hull and hardware?
if it's just for the hull and hardware, go for the bling rocket 32" (same as a prince) or a DF33
if it's for everything, you'll likely need to step down in size to a 26" bling rocket, what do you already have available?

No its $250 for the hull and i would love for the hardware to be included in that price but if it isn't it will just mean it is going to take me a little bit longer for me to build it.

I am going to want to use it for racing in the future but for now it will be just fun, maybe racing against my friends spartan...I would like to beat a spartan on 6s

I found a website that is selling MMP Rapid/Racemaster hulls for $190 and i think that will be the hull i am getting unless i hear opinions pro or con about other hulls...But i also liked the DF Pirate....

I am just a little apprehensive about cutting holes and stuff since i have never used fiberglass or epoxy or anything, but i am a quick learner...

Only one way to learn. Work slow, measure, double check, and post a build thread and search your hull on here. Itll make you nervous at first, but its really not hard to assemble a boat. Open your wallet, use good drill bits, and dont buy epoxy from home centers.

The 32 rocket is like the Pursuit, the 26 is like the prince

OSE has expoxy and www.kintecracing.com has carbon fiber sheets as well as fabric. Ive been using Z Poxy finishing resin on the last couple builds with great results. OSE carries it. I am in one way re buildimg my DF33 and will be posting a build thread maybe later this eve depending on how busy I am with the boat. You should be able to get a few tips from the thread. Outrunning a Spartan is nothing, especially when you assemble the boat yourself.

oops, mixed the two up, thanks for the catch 2226
if you need help figuring out what hardware you need to order (after deciding on the hull), just ask and we can let you know your options.

Use all Speedmaster hardware that you can. The cheap china stuff is a pain and the Speedmaster isnt much more anyway.

You are my inspiration to the DF35 Pirate. I saw the boat you donated to the Childrens hospital and wow, it was amazing. Also nice thing you did there. Congrats.

it doesn't look like there are dual rudders on it there.
