    Rolled my Persuit :(

Well Id finally finished everything and took it down to the lake this afternoon because of about 3 hours of good weather!

I was at about 3/4 throttle and the boat started like bouncing from left to right, like wobbling, it then went right over and done a tumble, the hatch came off and the hull got water in it. Probably about 2 inches in the bottom, the batteries stayed fairly dry but the receiver got wet.
Ive just cleaned everything out, put metho through the receiver and the servo looks allright as well.
The motor wasnt fully submerged either

One thing, one of the leads came off the motor in the crash, and it blew the positive wire off on the bullet plug, and tore down the heat shrink.
DOsent apprear to be any other damage to the boat but still awaiting to to full dry out.

I think the strut is about level, and it seemed like the batteries were in an ok spot because it didnt porpoise.
Ive just screwed down the trim tabs at the back, so they are about 2mm above on the hull (not flush), and then they go slightly down.

I think ill install some hatch locks in it , because the tape did NOoffing!!!

Does anyone else have any tips for this hull? it seemed like it was going great, it could have just been me with too much throttle though!

If you tape the hatch fully it shouldn't come off. I had a flip with my genesis and it landed hatch side down in the water but it was fine inside once it drifted back in. I tend to go through patches where I flip the boat, then break something like the rudder.

Yeah well im not sure if i should install the spare hatch locks in the rear of the hatch, or if i should just do two runs of tape slightly side by side around the entire hatch. the front has the lip that slides into the hull, but its not exactly a locked in bit

If its cold out, keep your tape on the dash with the heater on to help keep the tape warm..It will stick better when its warm..

well its "Summer" here in australia at the moment, but its only been about 25 to 30 degrees instead of the usual 40 hahaha!

Ive dryed the electronics, cleaned with metho, WD40 on the connectors, plugged it in, and so far, everything worsks! servo is allright, same with the receiver which was water logged.
I used Metho and a tooth brush on the receiver and it cleard all the tiny bits of corrosion from it, seems all new again! I might do the double tape next time and see how it goes.
Does anyone else get the death wobbles? hahah

I always wipe my hulks with a clean paper towel using brake clean before I run. Tape always holds, unless the crash is bad.

hmm yeah that looks like a good solution. Definatly better than the hatch locks.
I run in salt water here and id would be better to have a hatch which isnt going to move, Ever !
