    Two ESC programing questons??

Im programing my fightercat ESC ( ESC: 2s-8s 240amp, motor: TP 4050, 1160kv)

    1) PWM
    8khz
    16khz
    32khz

????? I looked up the meaning of "PWM" but still lost..

    2) Throttle curve:
    A-Linear
    B-exponential
    C-Logarithmical

    ?????what is this business??

Which do I want with both of these??

    thanks

If you bought from Fightercat you could ask Ben as he will know exactly.

What effect does changing the Drive or Brake PWM frequency have?

Increasing the drive frequency will result in a smoother throttle with less "punch" on the bottom end. Conversely, decreasing the frequency gives more punch on the bottom end and makes the throttle less smooth. Increasing the brake PWM frequency makes the brakes smoother with less grab. Decreasing the brake PWM frequency makes the brakes less smooth with more grab.

I would go for the middle 16Khz which it is probably already on which should give you the best of both.

I have heard before that the Linear setting gives the best control over throttle, increasing as you press the trigger in more (standard setting on most escs).

Ben is away until the 10th or something, I figure by the time he gets back and "up to speed" with his business it will be a while for answers. Mostly, I want to play with all the money I spent.

thanks for the info. it does make a little more sense now.
