Etti 2mm coupler question

2mm is a little bit more than .078 (0.07874)
Will this be ok with a .078 wire drive?
Having an interesting time finding a 1/8 to .078 coupler, but 2mm is damn close.

Youll be fine with the Etti one, i have one & a .078" wire tightens up ok. The Etti 2mm wire drive that i have is actually 1.98mm or .078" (thats the Etti wire diam as its under 2mm) . I think you will struggle to find this size coupling apart from the Etti. Martin.

I've been looking all over for a coupler to fit a Lehner with a 1/8 shaft, Was hoping to get a positive on the Etti with a .078 wire!

I think the way they look at it a .078" wire is normally used on larger more powerfull motors & that a motor with a 1/8" shaft isnt as powerfull & wouldnt use a .078" size wire so they dont make them . The smaller motors normally use a .062 wire as their are 1/8" x .062" couplings.

They slip on 078. 2mm wire is fine if you can get it. Also if you tighten a little hard they break. I make all sizes for your needs but are set screw style but they hold up

I should perhaps be clearer, I use the Etti 2mm collet coupler i also use the Etti 2mm wire drive shaft. The Etti 2mm wire is actually undersize as its 1.98mm or .078" that is new & unused size not one worn. Martin.
