No, but I have seen THIS one in use. It works great, see the reviews on that page. What will you paint with it?

I have only used airbrushes. Kind of a challenge to paint 1/10th scale boats with an airbrush but I did it.
Never used a real spray gun how difficult to get it set up correctly and what about cleanup?

I've cleaned air guns and airbrushes, I must say that an air gun is easier to clean, but some guns are an exception.
Setup, It's hard to say. They're different, i guess a gun is harder because it has more things to consider, but then again, I've never gotten an airbrush to spray right, I think it's because of the viscosity of the paint I put in it.

I have one of those guns, I used it for clear coating a Sport40 with Klass Kote. My 3 gal. compressor is a bit small for it, the cup is really small and the vinyl hose is too short. They don't tell you the cfm's required just that it needs a 1 1/2hp compressor.
I went back to my Paasche VL with a #5 tip and some big bottles for it. I actually bought another one, still the same as the one I've had for 20+ years.

That's a great brush, single action's are easier to use and can spray a little heavier paints.

If your looking for a spray gun like that one, pick up a cheep HVLP at harbor freight, home depot, Lowe's etc, there all pretty close, the tip size is what matters the most, depending on what you spray. Clean up is easy, a little lacquer thinner and your all set. As far as setup, the top nob is your fan, and the bottom one is for the amount of product you want to spray through the gun.

That will work, I usually spray at 40psi at the gun, squeeze the trigger than adjust to 40psi, The HP of the compressor doesn't matter as much as the storage tank size, top screw is the fan pattern, Bottom is the amount of product, to clean, as soon as you are done spraying dump out excess paint/clear, fill cup a little with laqure thinner, spray under pressure, remove the tip, it should consist of 2-3 pieces depending on the make, unscrew the bottom screw, there's a spring in there with the needle witch pull's out, take out the top screw, then apply some laqure thinner to all parts, and inside of the gun, reassemble, Make sure your in a well ventilated area, there will be a decent amount of overs spray and fumes

                      Thanks for the help.
Is a HVLP gun have less over spray and fumes?
