Duratrax Flash Point infrared temp. gauge

I'm sure someone out there must have one of these temp gauges. There's
a setting on it called ''EMISSIVITY'' it's adjustable from 0.01 to 0.99 . Anyone
know what the best setting might be for accuracy when checking motors,ESC,Bats.

    From the instruction sheet :

Aluminum : Sandblasted (standard car and airplane engines, not anodized) set the emissivity at 21E

Aluminum : Anodized (for colored car and airplane engines, may be powder coated) set the emissivity at 77E

Battery packs(with or without covering) and airplane covering : leave at default 95E

I have the complete instruction manual, if you want a scanned version, hit me at [email protected]
