    Finally Super Hawaii Copy shipped

My Purple Light Super Hawaii copy was finally sent. Boat is 41 inches long. I will get it Tuesday. I have a 700sc motor, Jeti 600 esc. I plant to use 14 cells. Is this enough to get it going at a good clip? You guys think 1 motor is enough for a boat this size? I have never used a 700 size motor before. I have to figure other stuff out as well.

Congratulations. I'm glad you didn't get shafted on that deal. SJFE was right, a little patience goes a long way. That motor should be good enough, ABS hulls are lighter that Fiberglass.

If I go and replace the outdrive with a strut and rudder what size rudder should I use and strut? The boat is 41 inches. Is there some sort of rule of thumb to figure out what size rudder and strut to use? And what should I use to beef up the transom and what to use to glue it into place or whatever?

Would a 6 inch rudder and a 3/16 strut work good for this?

Ebay certainly has it's uses. I use it to find vintage boats for retro builds.
