whats up guys... Im looking to build my first boat... im thinking of getting a 31" or larger V hull... Im lost as to what esc and motor setup to go with... I dont want nothing to crazy and out of control... Also where do you find all the hardware and how do you know what hardware will work for your boat? when you buy a hull does it come with recomendations?

    Wow, that's a mill $ question....
My first boat was an osprey, came stock already done up. After first day out I wanted it to go faster!!
I think a lot of people get addicted very fast. It has cost me more in the end because I had to get 2 boats first to pick a third.
Plus both boats got upgraded to go faster. Even more $$. My point is....find out what the most $ you want to spend now and x that by 2 Lol then buy your first boat. But also in most cases, the bigger the boat the less chance of a flip. Be carefully though, big boats need a lot of power and good power is expensive. I think something similar to an osprey/delta force with a 4082 motor would be a good start it's a fair 50mph cruiser.

    Just my ten cents.

44" is still fair to power $ wise
