Speedo Options for SV27 motor and lipos..

I have already posted this question on the other board, but I do know that some of you that run boats often don't always post over there... So I thought that I would post the question over here... The mods will need to determine whether it's redundent...

Alright gang… I am getting ready to purchase the components to power my 1/12 shovel for the build contest. As we all know the SV27 motor will be used. However, I am concerned that the Aquacraft speed control will not be enough. Has anyone run this combo in this size of hull successfully? If not what speedo would you recommend? What about the X-power that steve sells, will that work on an SV27 motor? Is that a better option than the Aquacraft?

I run a 1/12 Llumar with the SV speed controller on 4S, have used a SV motor and currently run a 9xl with no problems at all. I'm using a standard SV prop as well. The controller only warms up on the hottest days, otherwise its alway nice and cool to the touch.
