    outboard motor

I've got an old Dumas Hotshot Sprint 36" outboard tunnel I'm converting to electric. I have a Neu 1521 1y and was wondering if this would be big enough. Going to use 6s 10,000 mah. Any opinions? Thanks.

    Hi morewattsnow ,

Great hull they are , ageless design as far as performance goes . Just make use of centre compartments by building a water tight section for electrics as I have , as you can se in yours , recently I fitted my new T180 with plenty of room to spare ...

Start a thread on your build on OSE.COM & I will be keen on following it with interest. ....

All the best with the build ,

The 1521 will move it out well, but not to blazing speeds.............keep the prop conservative at first on 6s with a 1577kv motor.
