I just ordered some U-pol from autobodytoolmart.com turns out they are about an hour away so I should get it soon! I have a question though, do I have to lightly sand the pactra paint before I lay the clear down? I would think sanding it in anyway would dull the color out.24 R/C vehicles and still counting...What budget?Comment

Make sure whatever clearcoat you use is UV safe as carbon fibre and epoxy is not so the carbon will deteriorate over time especially if left in the sun.Comment

No worries just thought id mention it as many dont realise epoxy isnt uv resistant thats why it needs to be painted.Better product than epoxy is vinylester resin as it can be used with poly gelcoats clear or coloured which are uv resistant. Its also cheaper than epoxy while still been strong some say stronger.
