    Climate Blizzard Rigger HELP?

OK Nitro I know but I'm new to Elc, so my question is. I just bought a Climate Blizzard Rigger Tub length is about 20.5" long. With out breaking the bank I want to know what everyone would recommend for a Motor, ESC, and Running gear. any help or suggestions would be welcome. thank you in advance.

Basically my question is WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH IT ?

I would install THIS motor in the 2040kV variety.
    4S lipo.
    and THIS ESC.

The hardware would be the Solinger hydro HW, but it's not being produced at this time so good luck finding a set.

There will be other suggestions, but those are my choices if she were mine.

I'm thinkin' the same motor for my JAE 12 electric version. It a couple inches longer than the Blizzard. I'm thinkin' 2s for mine though. For some reason I've been really interested in the N2 boats lately, my nitro .12 WildThing is also going electric. LOL I'll probably get more use out of them electrified now anyways, nitro has died completely in my area and there is only a couple of the die hard gas boaters left. They run at a different pond.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

My JAE12 (FE) is also a 2S boat and runs a Scorpion motor (HKII-2221-6) It just seems to me that 2S is hard on ESC's
The blizzard has more room in the tub which is why I would do 4S

If you have the room your deff better of going with higher voltage ie 3s or 4s. Most motors that are 2s are high kv & are high amp draw motors for what they are.

I just need to know a setup that's not going to break me. I dont need a racer at this point i just need a quick little boat to see if I want go go any further.
Basically some measurements of the hardware I would need so I cant kinda cheep out a little I hate to say it but foreign eBay *!***!***!***!**, just so I can see if I like this .

Those little guys can run well on 2S power. You can even get by on an 80 amp esc if you dial it in right. A 3650 (cheap $) can will do the job easily. I ran several motors in mine and tried a 5500kv as well as some others. The Lehner Basic was really the ticket for me. That coupled with a CC120 or similar Schulze and you will run all day long safely. I couldnt fit 4S in mine but 3S could be crammed in there. There just wasnt enough room between the top cover and the booms. A 632 prop will probably be where you decide to settle. That was where most of us found the best of speed and controllablity. I still have my Schulze 88W0 if you need a quality ESC. But its old technology and will only work on 2 pole motors. But its a beast. Can be submerged 100% and come back everytime. You can get by on a .130 flex but I would suggest a .150 flex. I have some hardware buried somewhere that would be perfect for your build as well.

it is. It's just been changed a lot. It started as the blizzard kit and ended up as what you see.

Modified? Did the boat ever have hardware on it?

put that little motor i sent you in it turning a 70mm prop
I will never buy from hobbyking again (not for just the reasons previously discussed, I know i made a mistake), but they do have some reasonably sized motors for a good price
                            http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._Inrunner.html
that would be more of a 4S motor, but if you want longer runtimes or a more controllable boat then 3S would be okay
a t-180 (if it fits with the cooling mod - anyone know?) or t-120 would probably be a reasonable setup.
I am not good with these types of setups as the only ones I've run (before i knew anything about this) were stupidly high amp ones, pushing an 800 or so watt motor to thousands of watts.
if someone wants to chime in to whether this is good or not, i'm thinking it would hold up.
(i have 2 2650mah 3S 45C zippies that charged up but I haven't run them yet if you want them, i can test them then put them in storage if you want them)
