    FE virgin NO MORE!

Well, I am no longer a FE virgin!

I was driving around yesterday and found some open water not too far from home. It is a river and it was clear of ice. I took the Graupner mini hydro out and it was a nice little boat (see forum thread Bought a tunnel hull sale... http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ead.php?t=2371). It won’t be the fastest boat in the fleet but it has nice speed for its size! I had a ZigZag 2 along as a recovery boat - Don't want to have to swim in 32 degree water.

My 10 year old son likes the ZigZag.

I didn’t have anyone with me to take pictures/video but I will post some after I have the opportunity.

Thanks FE_Chris & fastbaltek for the fun little boats!

Now I have to balance a few props and get the big boats wet.

      The fun continues...

Thanks guy’s for all your help!!! I have watched these forums religiously and have gained much. It is readily evident that you (contributors) have forgotten more than I even know. But I’m learning fast.

Since November I have gathered a fleet that includes:

ZigZag 2, My recovery boat and the one my 10 year old son likes because it’s nearly unsinkable.

Mini Rio, another fun little boat for my girlfriend and son to play with.

Graupner Mini Hydro, this thing is out of the hole quickly and on a 1200 mah lipo it goes for about 10 minutes.

Micro Hydro by Mini Cat Racing, my favorite boat so far. For an “out of the box” setup it flat out flies. Maybe not faster than the SV or BJ but for its size it is a rocket.

SV27, my first boat – it needed a new ESC before it ran, but I've had fun with it. It's a great boat to learn with.

BJ26, another problem boat, this needed a new ESC and a servo before I could get it wet.

Ice Marine trimaran, putting a 700 14.4v dewalt motor in this one. Not going racing with it. Something about “unique” designs that tell my why they’re unique. If it didn’t catch on there must be a reason. But it still looks cool!

29” Skunk Works Vee. This one has a KB36 11XL Motor, a Castle Creations Hydra 240 ESC, and 4s lipos. This should be fun too

Thanks again for all the help and encouragement!
