    mounting of motor mount

    i am almost ready to install the motor mount in my rigger and need a little advise. i am using the etti h010 adjustable mount. it has fiberglass rails on it. my plans were to epoxy it to the bottom of the tub will i need to also add fiberglass cloth and resin on where the mount meets the hull? thanks for all the help.

      I would use epoxy resin as you said, & after it sets up, epoxy strips of 3-4" long X 1" wide fiberglass tape along the length of your mount on both sides. Bulletproof. JIM
