why would same kv motors perform so different?

        it was custom made by a friend, its dead esy to change the ratios, mfa supply the gears and belts, they are very cheap. We discarded the cooling coil, and now have a new mounting faceplate, which has water cooling going through it. THe end support, far right of the mount supports the end of the shaft, which kept bending, and its stainless 5mm shaft, it has a floating bearing in it, this video was to see if the belt wandered on the gears, as I run the belt quite loose so there is no drag in the drivetrain



        the align motor, as pictured, had a superb sound, almost like a turbine! its an outrunner, but with an outer case, the turnigy lost that noise, and just sounds noisy!, and the scorpion...... well, lets wait and see, its not got past tickover yet! Pesky esc throwing its hand in, could be ages before I get on with this, and in the meantime the clock is ticking on any possible return of the scorpion motor if it is faulty
