    Exceed vyper set up advice

2 motor and esc combos have yielded little performance. Anyone have one with a reliable setup? I would appreciate your advice.

Is that the 24" boat? What combo's have you tried?

    To keep with 28mm dia. motors i'd suggest this 4 pole 2860 on 4s - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._Inrunner.html

I'd also suggest a T120 ESC due to great performance and they are not real big.............plus, a 120a ESC for $49!!!!

      Vyper setup

It's a 34" fiberglass boat. I've gone thru(so far) A Tacon 2848(4300KV) and a Seaking 3900KV in motors and am on my second 100A ESC.40mm metal prop, 2 blade. It's been a dog so far. Lists to the battery side even with added weight. My Proboat Impulse and my King of Shaves P1 run circles around it.

Oh, the 34" version. Those motors are too small/too high kv for that hull. Its on the edge of being too big for 4s, but a Leopard 4074 2000kv would run it fine with an x442, possibly m445 on 4s. The listing problem can be helped by running two 2s batts on either side of the motor, problem with that hull is that its so narrow.

Yeah, It's narrow. I ordered a harness from Maxamps so I could run 2 batteries. Double capacity not volts. I'll try the Leopard motor. Now I have to buy 2s batteries also. Oh well, I was planning on getting a Proboat Mystic anyway.
