    Motor ESC Prop question

Hi all! I have a 32" Bling Rocket/ Pursuit hull I got from Ben @FC. Great hull and easy build. I have a Seaking 180 ESC, Leopard 4074/2000kv motor and running a x 642 prop. I took it out for its maiden voyage last weekend. On 4s (2s2p)after getting the stinger dialled in to keep it from trying to pull the nose down so much, the boat ran pretty darn well for my first build. Temps stayed in the 90 deg range for the entire run on the packs. I just ordered some trim tabs for the rear. Obviously like us all I want more speed. I don't have a GPS but I'm guessing the boat runs in the high 40's. I have a 6s setup I want to try ( 3s 2p). Is running the same prop safe? Or do I go bigger? I have a 647 as well to try. In addition I also have one of Bens out runner motors (1700kv I think) that I could drop in pretty easily. Is that too much for that hull? Fairly new to this so I figured I would ask the guys who do this all the time. Not sure if it makes any difference but I am also running a wire drive not a cable. The boat is very smooth and quiet when running.. My first KOS P1 made all sorts of horrible sounding noises. :)

    Any suggestions?

Do not run an x642 on 6s.................. you need to go down in prop size when goin up in voltage. BTW, 2s2p is two 2s batts in parallel for a total of 2s output or 7.4v.............your is 4s1p or 14.8v.

Sounds like you have a rocket there, exciting when it runs great isn't it, i ran my Pursuit with a 2200kv Leopard on 5s a few times and hit 59 mph............was a blast!

Yep .. Sorry 14.8 Is right. So if I go with the 6s I should maybe think a x640? I think I have a 440 laying on the bench will that work.
