what is the kv of the motor?
how long are you running for?
6S is the limit of the ESC so if you are pushing 120A at 6S (at the absolute limit of the ESC), you are likely to be blowing the ESC's.

Back off to 5s on the 120, do not go 6s on that.

There is the problem, a 48+mm prop is too much for most 36mm motors, particularly on 6S. That size prop would be more appropriate on a 40 mm motor. You are pulling too many amps for 120 amp controllers - the fact you burned up several should be a warning that you are abusing them. Amps at or above the limit and voltage at the limit are a sure way to shorten the life of any ESC.

Sounds to me like you're running an s230 which has the same overall pitch as an X455!!!!!!!!BIGGGGGGGGGGG!!

You can actually use a 120a ESC with that low kv motor if you prop down to an x445 or less or an s215..........

The T180 would be the best way to go to have a strong, cool running setup with amperage 'headroom', you may be able to spin an x447 with the T180...............but i'd try an m445.
