Ideal Strut Location on a Mono?

Where is the ideal location for a Speedmaster .21 Stinger Strut on a Titan 33 Mono? Should the strut be in line with the keel or slightly above the keel (and by how much)? I thought I'd ask first before drilling incorrectly on a new hull. The hull measures 1/16" thick at the keel.

    To start off, I am thinking of running a KB-45 1200kv or 1000kv, 6S1P/5000/30C, 0.187 Flex/Brass tubing, and x442.

    Thanks guys!

I'm not sure ifs its "ideal", but I install the mount about 2mm up from the bottom.

I install them the same as Steven. It worked great in my Maus Bullit. Have a look video clips.
