5682-1360-Y wind, Has Anyone used one???!!

I was thinking this would be a nice motor for Q-mono or 6S running.

Has anyone tried a 5682?? This wind in paticular?

Any feedback compared to the D wind 5692 of similar KV of 1340 or so??

I haven't Ray but that does sound intriguing. That's kinda the sweet spot. Might be a bit much in a mono but it's so close it should be workable.

Thanks for the I/P Terry. That said I think I'll keep it and experiment with it. Since my Q-mono is fairly light Maybe?? It's a CF/ Kevlar layup DF type hull.

I think I'll give it a try. Save me sending it back.

      Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

For Q sport or a rigger you'd be right in there.

I can run it on 5S too. What kv do you like for 40" mono on 6S??

I haven't built one yet. I'm going to try the 1527/1y in a NS4 just because I have them laying around. The 1y works really well for sport. That might be too many kv for a mono. The NS4 isn't very big so it should work. I'm really not sure yet. I have a 1D too but that things is an amp hog and 2400kv. Works on 4s but not a great choice for that either.

Lately my thinking has been to get the biggest rotor I can find in the kv range that makes sense. Y winds preferable.
