If you're going to use the external bec to Rx as detailed in pic...
1. ensure your esc do not have bec enabled .. remove the red wires before the Y junction .
2. But if the esc does not have bec, leave the red wire there !

the esc are two Turnigy 30A BRUSHED ESC

and if they both have bec do i plug them into the batt slot or do i just disable the bec on esc

if they both have BEC and you want to use the internal bec, disable ONE of the two
if they both have BEC and you do not want to use the BEC, disable BOTH of them

the reciver is meant to use bec but can it be modified to use the esc bec

ok now i understand and where do i connect the y harness in the reciver ? theres one for the bec and one for the esc and servo

If you use the wiring as picture above do not use a dedicated Rx battery( or bec straight to Rx)
ergo.. only the Y harness and steer servo plug to Rx.
Put the single plug from Y harness into the Throttle/Esc plug on Rx.

Be aware first time you turn all this on, because the throttle may be 100% on connect !!..
You'd need to reverse the Th on Tx to solve that.
I dont fit props until all this is sorted out.. safer !
