    Epoxy still sticky?

Recently epoxied in my servo mount and after two days it's still sticky, two of the mounting points have gone off but two are sticky to touch? But not soft, I used Devcon 2 tonne which comes in a syringe which dispenses resin and hardener equally and I mixed well, anything I can do or should I just leave it?

I've had stuff that felt a little sticky for up to a week. If you don't mix it 100% accurately, that's what happens. Best bet is to leave it out and don't mess with it. It'll harden eventually (if your mixtures weren't horribly off).

Gimp is right. Because it did harden up, leave it alone & it will fix itself with time. I patched my Miss GEICO with a 2 part West System epoxy & it took a week to cure completely. There are 3 things that go wrong with epoxy. 1. Not mixing in enough hardener. 2. Not mixing epoxy/catalyst long enough before applying it. 3. The catalyst grows less chemicaly active over time. The epoxy itself will last a very long time, just replace the catalyst if you've done everything else right and still have hardening/stickiness issues. JIM

A heat gun also works wonders. JIM

Cheers guys, its now in the house so I will wait and see I just had visions of having to somehow remove it and start again which would have been a nightmare! It does seem to be hardening up more and more each day
