    Li-Po questions?

Im thinking about going to lipo batteries. Im just a little confused. If you normally run on 12 cell Ni-Mh what C rating Lipo's would you look at. I thought number of cells Ni-Mh = C rating for Li-Po but i think im way wrong. Thanks for any

You would want to run 4S lipo. 4S is 4 lipo cells of 3.7 V each connected in series for a total of 14.8 V which is approximately the voltage of 12 NiMH (14.4V).

The C rating refers to the continuous rate at which you can safely discharge the batteries. For example if you have a battery that is rated at 25C and has a capacity of 5000 mAh you could draw 5 Ah x 25 = 125 amps continuously. What C rating and capacity you need depends on your setup.
