    winter builds

Thought i'd start a thread to see what everyone has planned for this winter's build. (for those of us who must deal with winter)

I have just started a redtail kneeler. Will be a 6s setup with a turnigy 600 series outrunner. And also in the works is a 45 size FF rigger, 6s motor still to be determined.

I will be doing a final rebuild on my Drifter L and will be getting a 41" cat from FighterCat. Ive been thinking about a DF 41 or Sniper 45, but the mono isnt priortiy.

I'll be dong a rebuild on my Drifter L as well, the drive shaft snapped yesterday and took out the stuffing tube so I figured it's a sign, lol. I also have a Graupner Jet Sprint to build and I'm thinking I want a deep V, thinking on a BBY Oval master. Looks like a busy winter

I'm on my Shocker from Fightercat, would like to find a Shockwave 36 for my 1717,I better get on my 27" flat bottom jet boat.I built the hull from scratch 2 winters ago.I am also liking the 41"Fantom,I feel the need for a 1527.It may be a long winter in these parts.

Jae 21fe, a new mono about 29" - undecided on the hull, a kneeler, finishing details on a 1/10 scale hydro, Drifter S - have the hull, no idea about power yet.
And paint on a number of last seasons boats.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Lets see... I have to build/paint a new spec sport hydro, paint my spec offshore and opc boats, build a new P sport hydro, finish my dads spec sport hydro from last year, paint my JAE 21 and finish more work on my enclosed trailer that I use for model boating, trying to get this all done by the Winter Warm Ups in February. oh and have to help my co worker build his first FE boat for next year.

WTF have I got myself into.......... and this is just model boat related.

Stryker F41 Leopard 5692, Castle 110HV 8s2p setup. New cottage toy. May take this one up a notch if I feel ambitious. I wrecked my last 40" cat horrifically so I really should smarten up.

Jimi what prop do you think that 2860 will turn? Is it the 40?0 or 50?0 kv version?
A pair of the 4000kv's is one of the options I'm contemplating with the Drifter S, I have the hardware to go that route, including L & R cables stepped down to 1/8", just not sure if I can get CR props in an appropriate size. Don't want to pay for Venom props either!
The other option is to see how fast I can make it go in a straight line with a UL-1 or similar motor.
                            Thanks

Its the 5050Kv 2860. I am not sure on the props. This is them first leopard/micro-ish motor I have owned. The hardware I built can only accommodate max 39mm props. The specs on the motor say it will pull 120a and wattage similar to a 540L. I hope to spin a M435/3 or x637.

I have a drifter S as well. Not a ton of space for twin gear in those hull. They can really haul ass tho.
