    anyone knows if a castle hydra120 wil do for a 9XL in a drifter S ? or should i go for the hydra 240 ? planing on running on a X640 or X442 and 4s 4800`s

    Always get some head room!! Go with the 240....
    Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!

      I run a 120 with a 10XL on 4S2P. I've run props between a 442 and 646 in a 32 inch mono hull. I have not had any issues with this set up. In fact, I plan to drop a 9XL into this boat in the next couple of weeks and keep the 120 in it.

      FWIW I take out about 4,000 mA for a 4 minute Offshore race with the 442 and around 3600 for a 1-mile sprint with a 447.

        I run a 9XL with a Hydra 120 on 4S in a 1/12 hydro with no probles at all.

            I run the 120 in a M/Machine with a 9-10XL Hacker... no problems,

            The 240 would allow for more extreme set-ups and future builds..
            Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!
