    Epoxy by Bob Smith?????

I am ready to install a motor mount in my 31" mono. I have layed CF down in my hull and I also have a CF motor mount. I plan on making little wood dams to hold epoxy and I am just wanting to know if this epoxy will work?

    Hi,
I am not sure about that stuff,
Do you still have any cf or fg cloth left to put over motor mount legs ?
I just used a hot glue gun on my 36"Shockwave mod to FE and it holding really good,
It was just for a temp setup, But its working good with out the epoxy so I will see what happens.

I do have a bunch of CF cloth but I am trying to understand what you mean about over the motor mount legs? Are you saying the cloth would go from hull, over the leg and back to the hull? Kinda like a U-Bolt?

                  I am going with...

                  Leopard 4074 2150kv
                  T180
                  2x 4s1p

This is the first time I am ever using epoxy besides laying the CF down in the hull and I just want to make sure this stuff will be good enough.

I would test it on something else first and see how good it bonds,
Let it setup good and then try to pull it a part.
Like I said the hot glue surprised me with mine.

You can put all your faith in Bob Smith Industries adhesives.
Our local hobby store sells the CA glues & I've never had a problem with it. Never tried the Epoxy though.
                      Have a read of this.

From the airplane side of the hobby, I know that the Smith adhesives are one of the respected, quality brands. I've never tried the expoxy myself, but I'd personally use it without worry.

                        Take it easy,
