    Kos p1 cooling prob

Hi guys. Im new to offshore forum. Just first of all wanted to say what a nice site this is, very informative. Ijust recently got into boats and i am having a blast, always been a plane guy until my buddy talked me into buying a boat. But anyways I have the Kos p1 and it has been trouble free so far. Seems to be a very nice runner so far. I am having trouble thoigh with water pressure in the pickup line not shooting a nice solid line out of the port. Is this a problem with this boat or what. I have tried shortening the lines and covering one of the holes on the rudder and it seems better but i just cant see very much coming out. aybe I need bigger line? Any help would be great?

there just needs to be a steady stream, lost of arguments have started about speed of water flow, never really determined which is better, everyone has their own opinion.
as long as there is water, you're okay

The flow of water will make a difference to temps. The more water you have going through the better the heat tranfer will be from the esc to the water but as long as your temps are good i wouldnt worry about it.
