    My son and I are going to build a twin Genesis this winter, what drives/stingers will fit under the back?

    Im selling mt Genesis bare hull (white gelcoat). Its drilled for Fightercat 3/16 stingers and rudder mount. Its fully re inforced with floatation installed and sealed. Never ran or finished built.

      Hi bobkatz, youll need the 110mm stingers from Fightercatracing.com and FC has alot of the other parts you will need, if you dont already have the hull you may want to look into the one Larry has before you order one!!

              That's one boat my wife wouldn't mind having on display in the living room. She loves CF as much as I do! The crazy broad wants CF counter tops!!

              bobkatz, the Gen is a great boat. I miss mine. Sold it on impulse as I'm known to often do. Then I regret it later, lol. Good luck on the build and keep us posted.

                  I already picked up a new bare hull, I'll post some pics once the build gets going. This is his christmas gift so it'll be another month before any real work gets done, but he should have a pretty good collection of parts by then!!!

                        Lucky kids! I only get hugs from my dad for X-mas. And that's only if I've been good all year.

                          The black rudder was one of the inline strut and rudder systems from TFL,, just like the factory one that comes with the Genesis all i did was removed the strut and cut down the mount bracket to be shorter,, i liked the black too it kinda hides it so you mainly only notice the stingers..
                          Scott, she's still on the shelf wright now, but i was thinking of removing the one esc that has the loose cap and trying to clean the clear sealer stuff off the bottom side and trying to heat the solder points to try to get it to resolder,, if thats the problem???? Cant afford a new esc wright now!!! for sure not a new ETTI 150!!

                            Hello guys;
                            I am just starting a twin build up for the genesis.There is a few ? that I hope can get answered.1) how to set the stingers to start with.2)I am trying to find some hatch clips for it but I am not sure on which ones to get.3) last but not least;What would I use for props,does one turn clockwise and the other counter clockwise.The stingers I got from a company in Germany and they are installed.Hopefully some one could shed a little light on this. I will be posting my progress...... Thanks guys

                              The build is on!!! The stingers and rudder are installed, now moving on to motor mounts.

                              I want to run the blackjack esc and motors, how should the esc's be wired? They have two batteries per esc in a stock BJ, should I run two batteries per esc (4 batteries total) or should I run two large batteries?
