are the flux tork range ok motors ,

reason i ask is to get my hydro faster ,want to increase kv from 2200 to 2650 can size is same as castle so after removing fins on flux cooling jacket will go straight on ,has anyone used these or is it bad idea to go up to 2650 om 4s ,,my 2200 is always coming in at about 110 to 115 f after a few minute run ..

smaller motor, hotter wind. Less prop more rpm. Depends on the boat a lot. Plus cell quality and props.
Either way, 2650 kv on 4s is a VERY hot setup.

        Boats a insane Fe30. ,
props a abc h5 back cut ,or m445
batts are normally flight power 40c 3000 4s in parallel or nano tech 45c 4s 4000 in parallel ,

Just how fast so you want your FE-30 to go? Mine runs 54 mph with the stock motor and a club member's is in the mid-60s with a Castle 1515/1Y. The 2650 motor will most likely need a smaller prop than a m445.

Actually it is a lot different. For the same speed, a 4S setup will pull 20% more amps - that may be enough to smoke his controller.

Your 2200kv is a perfect motor in that hull. Why mess with it?
